Hello from the Hamptons!

JK, I’m home at my desk working but this is totally the outfit I’d wear for a girls day out East in the vineyards. Preferably Wölffer Estate- drinking their signature summer in a bottle with a cheese and charcuterie board. Definitely visit Wölffer Kitchen in Sag Harbor if you’re out there – it’s the cutest spot and the food is off the charts.

I can’t believe we’re almost in August? Every year I make a master bucket list of everything I swear I’m gong to do and I never get around to it- I’m still committed to roller blading down the bike path to the beach and hiking the Adirondacks if anyone wants to take me up on it!

Even though I haven’t had the most exciting social life this summer I’ve been super productive and tackled a lot of things that needed to get done. You know those annoying tasks that you keep pushing off until it eventually becomes so overwhelming you feel like your life is complete chaos? I decluttered EVERYTHING and created efficient systems (like cohesive bottles of cleaning spray and matching white fluffy towels- fun right?) I did an entire blog post on the principles of Wabi Sabi which is all about harmonious spaces that are calm and functional. You can read about it here.

I ended up selling so much stuff instead of tossing it and it seriously was the best decision ever! It’s time consuming, yes, but $10 here and there really adds up. We sold everything on Letgo from used kitchen appliances to clothes to furniture. We managed to make over $6k from selling junk! This will go right towards our moving expenses and we now have an excuse to splurge a little – HELLO RESTORATION HARDWARE MODULAR SOFA.

In other news Pasquale and I were supposed to have our wedding next week but we postponed it because of covid and decided to book a trip to Cabo instead. I’m honestly not that bummed because of everything I have going on- it’s actually a relief. I thought it would be fun to coerce Pasquale into another photoshoot in Mexico (part 2) so I bought matching his and her swimsuits. We’ll be vlogging our trip so stay tuned on the blog!
