DIY: Industrial Chic Vanity Under $300

vanity1.jpg

Up until recently I was using my bathroom sink as my makeup station + it just wasn’t cutting it anymore, especially because my bf LOVES to hog the mirror. I needed a practical space to get ready in which was completely out of the way of everything. I was inspired by this vanity and wanted to replicate a similar look that wouldn’t break the bank.

I tend to avoid bulky furniture, so a vanity shelf is a perfect balance of functional + minimalist. Not to mention, assembly was a piece of cake.

I bought a slab of re-purposed/salvaged wood which serves as my vanity table. I got the 36″ shelf in the color Golden Oak purchased here. The brackets were from Ikea and were $5 each.

I used a mini metal bucket to hold my makeup brushes, which are also cute succulent planters.

My lacquer tray came as a set of 3 which I used for the bathroom as well, but I also found this one for under $20 here.

My vanity chair is my favorite part of this whole look and can be found for under $100 here.

I store my makeup in these acrylic drawers which are pretty spacey.

This hanging rope statement mirror is to die for! This look-a-like is under $50.

+ lastly, the little faux sheepskin rug under my chair can be found here.
